enalapril (Vasotec)—ACE inhibitor—ADRs: angioedema, hyperkalemia, hypotension, dry cough; contraindicated in pregnancy
furosemide (Lasix)—loop diuretic—ADRs: nephrotoxicity, ototoxicity, hypokalemia, photosensitivity; contraindicated in pt.s with sulfa allergy or anuria
